What is Enemy property:
Enemy Property represents the asset and possession of an Individual or Entity that have been declared as Enemies by the Indian State.
These properties are mostly those properties left behind by the people who took citizenship of Pakistan and China after leaving India during the partition and after 1962 war.
Enemy Property Act, 1968 :
Enemy Property are managed and regulated by the Enemy Property Act, which was enacted in 1968.
This Act clearly states that Enemy Property is vested in the Custodian of Enemy Property for India (CEPI) under the Home Ministry.
