We cannot deny the fact that women are more victims than men. But it is also seen that the police arrest people in false cases of dowry without any prior warrant. They are treated as guilty even before the crime is proved. we all are aware of the fact that, once the dowry-related case goes to the police, then society starts treating the accused family-like criminals. Due to such activities, the accused family has to face hatred and mental trauma from different sides and the financial condition of the family also deteriorates. It has been also seen that families commit suicide to end this mental pain.
Way to protect yourself from false dowry cases:
1.
Collect the evidence against your wife 2.
You must take anticipatory bail to protect you and your family in case your wife lodges a complaint against you. 3.
You can file a complaint against your wife for a false 498A complaint. 4.
You can file a case of defamation against your wife.
Conclusion:
We accept that mostly women are victim of dowry cases but in recent few years, few women have misused this law for their personal and monetary benefits.A lot male’s victim personal and professional life has been spoiled because of these fake cases. Though most of the law support only women but still if male can follow proper path and use laws available, we can save our life from these false dowry cases.
