What happens to existing visa when passport is renewed?

Expired and Renewed passports do not affect the validity of the foreign visas.You must bring your old passport with valid visas along with your new passport when travelling. Visa Transfer: A lot of countries like India, Thailand, USA, Thailand, UK, Saudi Arabia, Japan allow to Visa transfer once you change the Passport. You can apply to Visa transfer with old and new Passport and it will be transferred to new Passport.
