Why Bank of America Singapore have Notice Period only 7 days for contractor? Is it good decision to join Bank of America Singapore as contractor for software developer role?

I am working in Singapore since last 3 years and I have around 11 years of development experience. I am looking for a change now and have 2-3 companies interview in next week. I am looking for a good company for long term 2-3 years contract as I don't like changing company every year as I am a foreigner on EP.I got a call for Bank of America Singapore as contractor for software developer role. One surprise thing is that BOA have only just 7 days of Notice Period for contractors. It looks too scary as if they don't renew contract and ask me to leave 7 days, it will be a difficult situation for me.Is it good decision to join Bank of America Singapore as contractor for software developer role?Does BOA extends the contract every year easily or does it have possibilities of becoming permanent?
