The SAX parser pull-parser conflicts with Tomcat SAX parser : org.xml.sax.SAXNotSupportedException: not supported setting property

I am using a vendor Third Party Library Jar for using their API.

Recently we have upgraded this Jar and we started getting error.

I am trying to build Gradle with Gradle-6.0 and SpringBoot version 2.3.0. I am suddenly started getting this below error.


Root Cause: The SAX parser pull-parser conflicts with Tomcat SAX parser.


Solution: I excluded pull-parser dependency from my Third Party Library Jar like below in build.gradle file.


exclude group:"pull-parser",module:"pull-parser"


Error:


org.xml.sax.SAXNotSupportedException: not supported setting property http://xml.org/sax/properties/lexical-handler

    at org.gjt.xpp.sax2.Driver.setProperty(Driver.java:204)

    at org.apache.tomcat.util.digester.Digester.getXMLReader(Digester.java:871)
